Sarah Hudetz has been a participant of camp for several years and with her family’s help, they will be hosting their “Horizon Camp Benefit Golf Outing” on Saturday, May 22. This event will be held at The Tamarack Golf Club located on 24032 Royal Worthington Drive in Naperville, Illinois.
Cost is $100 per person with a 1 p.m. shotgun start. The price includes lunch, 18 holes of golf & dinner. Not a golfer? No problem, dinner only tickets are available for $50 per person. 2010 Horizon Golf Outing & Luau
Horizon will be hosting its annual Golf Outing & Hawaiian Luau on Saturday, August 7, 2010. We moved the event back this year and save the date notices have been sent. Dust off Your Bowling Balls…
It is time for the annual BOWL FOR HORIZON! Yes, you read it correctly. Another wonderful evening of bowling with friends and family of Horizon. Three games of bowling with a twist, dinner and a variety of prizes to be won. This year’s event will be held Saturday, April 24 at Brunswick Zone in Deerfield Illinois.

Horizon benefits from the Morton Grove Foundation 2010 “The Taste” fundraiser
The Morton Grove Foundation every March sponsors a fundraiser and Horizon is one of this year’s benefactors. The event will be held Thursday, March 11 at White Eagle Banquets in Niles Illinois. The foundation gathers several of the local cuisine for eight evening of food tasting and entertainment. There will be raffle prizes, silent auctions and a cash raffle drawing to round off the evening. 2010 Summer Camp Recruitment Is Underway
On Saturday, January 9 Horizon held its annual kickoff party at Hackney’s restaurant in Glenview Illinois. There was a large turnout and everyone had a good time reminiscing about camp and talking about what is in store for 2010. There were some raffles during the night and participants could fill out their applications for this year summer camp. Don’t worry, if you weren’t able to make it in person applications are available online at this Summer Camp Link, or you can complete it online directly. This year summer camp theme is “Horizon Tours USA” and the following design was selected for this year’s summer camp T-shirts.
